¿Que es el pop?

La música pop, es un género de m{usica popular que tuvo su origen a finales de los años 50 como una derivación del rock and roll, en combinación con otros géneros musicales que estaban en boga en aquel momento. Los términos música pop y música popular se usan a menudo de manera indistinta, aunque el segundo tiene un sentido más amplio al dar cabida a otros géneros distintos del pop que se consideran populares.
Como género, la música pop es muy ecléctica, tomando prestados a menudo elementos de otros estilos como el dance, el rock, la m{usica latina o el folk. Con todo, hay elementos esenciales que definen al pop, como son las canciones de corta a media duración, escritas en un formato básico (a menudo la estructura estrofa-estribillo), así como el uso habitual de estribillos repetidos y de temas melódicos y pegadizos. La instrumentación se compone habitualmente de batería, bajo, guitarra eléctrica, voz y teclado.

La Federación Internacional de Fútbol (FIFA) dio a conocer la canción oficial del Mundial de Brasil 2014, llamada "We Are One (Ole Ola)"
La melodía es interpretada por los estadounidenses Pitbull y Jennifer López y la brasileña Claudia Leitte, y el disco con el tema mundialista saldrá a la venta el 12 de mayo, junto con canciones de la colombiana Shakira y el boricua Ricky Martin.

Luis Fonsi estreno el vídeo de "corazón en la maleta"
Luis Fonsi acaba de estrenar el vídeo de “Corazón en la maleta”, primer sencillo de su octava producción discográfica que saldrá a la venta próximamente.
El vídeo fue grabado en Miami bajo la dirección del reconocido director Carlos Perez, y fue inspirado por la magia de la calle de Bourbon, en Nueva Orleans.
La filmación del vídeo de esta canción, compuesta por Fonsi y Claudia Brant, contó con la participación de más de 100 extras.
El nuevo disco de Fonsi “es muy elaborado a nivel musical pero a la misma vez muy orgánico”, según contó el propio cantante a People en Español.

Este vídeo ha sido uno de los más vistos en las ultimas semanas, al parecer las personas al rededor del mundo se encuentran fascinadas con esta canción.
